I'm Teresa, and this is my husband Steve.  By trade I am a nurse.  I worked full time in nursing until February 2006 when I was diagnosed with optic neuritis.  As you can probably guess, that diagnosis along with a history of unexplained neurological symptoms led to my diagnosis with MS.

I met Steve not long before the onset of my optic neuritis, and he has been by my side every step of the way since.  It has been about a year and a half since my diagnosis, and we have learned so much.  I am now a full-time homemaker, while Steve works full-time and also manages to keep me on track with my therapy.  He is my rock.

After my diagnosis with multiple sclerosis last year, I searched the internet for information that was useful and relevant to my MS.  But my searches only left me with a huge amount of general information that was difficult to sort through; especially in my state of mind at that time.  Even with my training as a nurse I found it difficult to make sense of it all.  So, here we are, armed with the knowledge we have gathered.  We have started this website as a new community where those of us affect by MS can share information and discuss the things that concern us most.  Whatever they may be.

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our site.  We hope you will find it helpful.  It is a work in progress, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions on how it can improve.
